This bachelor thesis is focused on a structured description of the flight planning and preparation process in commercial air transport with emphasis on legislative requirements, especially regulation L 8168, and with regard to the circumstances and factors affecting the flight. The aim of my bachelor thesis is to present a brief overview of individual navigational tasks a commercial pilot might have to deal with using the flight computer. Work contains detailed descriptions of navigational tasks solutions on the computer. Specific examples are included, which are to serve as a reliable guide for understanding the function and usage of the navigation computer. My work explains the role of this conventional tool in the world of modern technology.
